Well, we're a bit behind getting these posted since Christin had her sonogram in April. Anywho, here's 2 pics of Levi, one of his hand and one of his face.

Naomi singing
Naomi sang with me a few Sunday's ago at church. Grandparents, eat your heart out. We took this video with our camera so the video segments are short and choppy. (FYI, you can hear Ethan singing beside Christin as she took the video....I think he's more athletic than musical)
In evil long I took delight
In evil long I took delight
Unawed by shame or fear;
Till a new object struck my sight
And stopped my wild career.
I saw one hanging on a tree
In agonies and blood;
Who fixed his languid eyes on me
As near his cross I stood.
Sure never till my latest breath
Can I forget that look;
It seemed to charge me with his death
Though not a word he spoke.
My conscience felt and owned the guilt
And plunged me in despair;
I saw my sins his blood had spilt
And helped to nail him there.
Alas, I knew not what I did
But now my tears are vain;
Where shall my trembling soul be hid?
For I the Lord have slain.
A second look he gave which said
"I freely all forgive;
This blood is for thy ransom paid
I died that thou mayest live."
Thus while his death my sin displays
In all its blackest hue;
Such is the mystery of grace,
It seals my pardon too.
With pleasing grief and mournful joy
My spirit now is filled;
That I should such a life destroy
Yet live by him I killed.

4th of July face painting evangelism
On the 4th of July some youth from CBC participated in an outreach effort with Gospel Ministries to Children and shared the gospel with kids as we painted their faces. Here are some pics from the event. I'm proud of the youth that participated for sharing the gospel and trusting Him for the results. Even though the face painting was free I'm afraid that a few of the parents of the kids whose face I painted wanted to ask for a refund...ouch.Robinson....like a champ man.
Now Stephanie could slap some serious paint on....
J-Dog painting it up. His were marginally better than mine :)
Con-man bringing it on.

Theological Triage
Below is a link to an article written by Albert Mohler, president of Southern Seminary. The article discusses the importance of cooperation amongst Christians and lays out a very practical and wise approach which helped me think through alot of things. If you've ever wondered how we as Christians can be more unified yet not betray doctrinal truth we have come to see in Scripture then this article is for you.
